The Silent Genocide Continues — Pakistan’s War on Ahmadi Muslims Turns to Expulsion and Arson
Incident Summary
On September 28, 2025, extremist mobs allegedly led by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) launched violent attacks against the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Village Piro Chak, District Sialkot, Pakistan.
- Several houses and 1 shop were set ablaze.
- Vehicles and tractors were torched.
- Dozens of Ahmadi’s were beaten; one person seriously injured by gunfire.
- Dozens of families forced to flee under threats of death and property seizure.
This attack followed a series of escalating incidents:
- 21 September 2025: An Ahmadi woman was denied burial in her ancestral graveyard; the family was forced to bury her elsewhere.
- 24 September 2025: Mobs looted Ahmadi homes; instead of protecting the victims, police filed a false FIR against Ahmadis.
Now, the violence has turned into outright ethnic cleansing — Ahmadis are told to vacate their homes so extremists may seize their land.

A Pattern of State Complicity
The Ahmadi community has lived in Piro Chak for generations, establishing farms, homes, and their own graveyard. Yet, the state machinery remains helpless or complicit. Despite visible evidence — burned homes, fleeing families, injured victims — police have failed to protect Ahmadis or hold the perpetrators accountable.
This is not random unrest. This is systematic persecution under an apartheid regime: Ahmadiyya Apartheid in Pakistan denies the community their mosques, their graves, and now their very right to shelter and livelihood.
What we are witnessing is not mere discrimination. It is a silent genocide — where identity, faith, and existence itself are being erased step by step.
International Alarm
The violence in Piro Chak comes just weeks after UN human rights experts warned Pakistan about its climate of impunity against religious minorities, citing destruction of mosques, desecration of graves, mob killings, and arbitrary arrests of Ahmadis.
Despite these warnings, persecution has escalated — now reaching the level of forced displacement and targeted arson.
We Demand International Action
We urge the United Nations, European Union, United States, United Kingdom, International Criminal Court, and global human rights defenders to:
- Condemn these attacks as violations of international law and human rights.
- Demand accountability of TLP and local officials who enabled the violence.
- Impose diplomatic and economic consequences on Pakistan for persistent violations of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
- Designate TLP as a terrorist organization responsible for ethnic cleansing.
- Launch an independent fact-finding mission to document the silent genocide of Ahmadis in Pakistan.
Let History Record
In Piro Chak, families were beaten, homes burned, and entire communities uprooted. This is not silence anymore — it is fire, blood, and forced exile.
This is Apartheid. This is Genocide.
And the world must not look away.
